The term meditation has been used very “loosely” across the globe in the recent years, so we have also gone with that term for marketing purposes. However, at our meditation classes, what we will be teaching are merely the tools which will assist the students in potentially achieving a meditative state in divine timing. The tools include, but is not limited to, relaxation techniques, flexibility, breathing techniques and the ability to maintain correct posture.

Group Meditation Classes

It’s said one must have completed the 6 stages of Yoga before you can transcend into the 7th stage which is the meditative state.

Every soul is at a different stage of this journey. We ourselves are still on an ever-evolving journey, and it may well be that your path extends beyond how far we are capable of accompanying you.

The main thing is to enjoy the journey and not worry about the destination, as the journey itself is known to bestow many blessings upon you once you decide to commit to it.

What To Expect From Isvaara Meditation Classes

Stage 1:

Briefing on how to improve your physical health and prepare your body & mind to embark on a spiritual journey, through implementing practical steps in your everyday life.

Stage 2 :

a) Light Exercise & Simple Yoga Poses: To Warm up your body before we get started.

b)Posture improvement, balance, flexibility & coordination through mindful practices for improving spine alignment

c)Reduced Stress / Anxiety Practical tools to improve your mental & emotional health and wellbeing

c)Restoration of balance and harmony in your life through teaching of tools for cleansing your chakras and connecting with nature

d) Basic breathing Exercises  To increase lung capacity

While Hindu and Buddhist meditation are among the most well-known meditation practices, we recognise that meditation has been referenced across many other cultures and religions worldwide.

In each tradition, meditation serves a unique purpose—whether for spiritual growth, emotional balance, physical healing, or cultivating mindfulness.

To remain respectful of everyone’s cultures and individual beliefs we deem giving everyone the opportunity to make an informed decision a basic right. For which transparency is the key.

We would therefore like to inform you that Isvaara’s Meditation teachings are drawn from Hindu scriptures and practices.

However, anyone is welcome to join and will be made to feel included at every step of the journey as the aim of Isvaara group meditation classes will be solely focusing on the tools & techniques required for meditating only and not to discuss the religious or cultural aspect of it.

Our Approach

New students will be joining our “assessment session” [new groups to start every 3 months], after which if you decide to continue you’ll be placed in the most suitable group for you [Group A or Group B], depending on your current level of flexibility, stamina, focus, health conditions, balance and posture holding abilities.

We will be doing regular assessments and consultations throughout your Meditation Journey with Isvaara to assess your suitability for ongoing classes with us.

We will only take on students we believe are serious about learning meditation and is committed and disciplined. This is to ensure all our students gets an uninterrupted and valuable experience.
