HENNA HAIR DYEING BIRMINGHAM CITY
Please Note our Henna Hair Dyeing treatment only includes the application of the Henna Hair Dye. The Henna hair pack must be bought by the customer. We will recommend the pack to purchase [Isvaara is not affiliated to any Henna brand by any means]. We recommend a henna pack which is 100% pure and organic henna with no other additives in the ingredients list. Rest assured that any henna pack that we advice you to purchase has been tried and tested personally as well as on other friends, family and customers and is known to work very well, especially in covering grey Hair. In addition we guarantee that none of the packs we recommend will cost you more than a couple of quid.
The pack comes in black or dark brown and the colour usually lasts up to 4 -6 weeks, depending on how often you wash your hair. You are welcome to buy an alternative henna pack of your own choice, as long as it’s pure henna only – other natural ingredients such as shikakai and amla is ok to be found in the ingredients list, but if there are any other non natural ingredients on the list, we will not be applying the henna. HENNA HAIR DYEING STEPS & CUSTOMERS TO DO's
- CUSTOMER TO DO [1]: Even though we will only be applying a Henna hair dye which is 100% natural and do not contain any chemicals, we still advise you to perform a patch test at home, 24 hours before arriving at your appointment. To do this mix a pinch of henna powder with luke warm water, make a paste and use an earbud or your finger to apply the paste behind your ear. Leave it on for 24hours. If you feel any irritation, itching, swelling or any other abnormal symptoms develop, immediately rinse off with ice cold water.
- HAIR DYE APPLICATION: We will section your hair and apply the henna generously and thoroughly to cover the roots & greys fully. If you have hair that is longer than shoulder length you may need 2 henna packs. The remaining henna paste will then be applied to the remaining length of the hair.
- COVERING THE HAIR: We will put your hair in a bun then wrap your head with a cling film. If you are allergic to cling film please inform us before confirming your booking.
- CUSTOMER TO DO [2]: Kindly bring a head wear [A hat or any other form of head wear]. Something that can cover your whole head (so the cling film on your head is not visible when you walk out in the public. Please also bring a scarf. As cold weather or wind can make you catch a cold or give you a head ache. So It’s very important your head, ears and neck are kept warm after applying the henna until it has been washed off.
HENNA HAIR DYEING - AFTERCARE
For best results leave the Henna in for a minimum of 6 hours before washing it out. But we highly recommend to leave it on overnight if possible. When washing the henna out, no shampoo is required [as the henna itself has cleansing properties]. But Ensure you rinse it out thoroughly with cold or luke warm water, otherwise the hair will feel hard and straw like.
Make sure you use a very good conditioner and if possible condition your hair once, wash it off then condition it a second time and this time leave the conditioner in for 10mins before rinsing it out.
