We could proudly say we are one of the few Holistic Facial providers in town. By Holistic we mean our facial does not only benefit your skin but it also protects your overall health. We don’t use off the shelf / wholesale products. Every ingredient we choose is 100% organic and natural. From our cleanser to the mask to the toner and moisturiser are used making herbs, herbal concoctions, oils and essential oils. We source most of our products in powder form, so there’s no need for preservatives.

These are then further tailor made to your specific skin type and skin concern[s] within 48 hours of your treatment. For this reason you will always be asked to complete a Holistic Facial Questionnaire before we prepare your facial pack – making your facial truly bespoke.

This is due the inherent differences in female endocrine organs and their natural, complex menstrual cycles, pregnancy & menopause – which all involve significant estrogen and progesterone fluctuations, making females more susceptible to hormonal imbalances than men. Most skincare products in the market contains chemicals and ingredients that in various forms that are known endocrine disruptors. With women being the main target group of these skincare (hygiene and hair care) products females hormonal health is naturally more at risk. We put this at the heart of every ingredient we choose for our female clients. Our aim is to improve your skin without compromising your health.
WE ARE SUSTAINABLE
None of our packaging contains plastic and neither does any of our equipments that come in contact with your skin or our products. Our products are stored in amber glass containers – which not only means that you are protected from risk of genotoxicity, inflammation and oxidative stress but also maintain the potency of the products so you get the most out of your facial. We prepare our face pack in wooden bowls using wooden spatula and it’s applied to your face using bamboo bristled wooden brushes. We even heat our oils using natural flame in a glass container before application and not the general oil warmers found in the market, which may contain plastic or involve electrical heating.

Why are we advised on adverse reactions if your products are 100% Natural?
Contradictory to belief that because something is natural you will not react to it, there is in fact a higher chance of reacting to natural skin care ingredients than to chemical ones. The reason is because chemical skincare is packed with fillers and inactive substance, whilst our natural ingredients contains no fillers and are sourced in it’s fully active form. So they are quite strong and potent. Therefore if you are new to 100% natural skin care precautions must be taken.
What precautions does Isvaara take to minimize the Risk of adverse reactions caused by your products to a New Beginner?
Unless you specifically mention to us that you are used to natural ingredients, we always start your first facial by using diluted versions of our face pack, then build it up with each visit as we familiarise ourself with your skin’s tolerance and capacity.
What Precautions can your customers Take to minimize risk of adverse reactions by Isvaara Facial Products?
Complete the Skin care questionnaire fully honestly and ensure you read our before and after care page and follow it. We do advice you to do this more than once during our booking process. We also do run through basic precautions and check in with you at the beginning of your facial and after your facial.
Can I continue using my usual Skincare after an Isvaara Facial?
If you are using chemical skincare we strongly advice to replace these with Natural skincare products of your choice Just ensure you read the full ingredient list and not just the title of the product. We also advise not to wash your face following our facial until the following day, as although we throughly rinse your skin to remove all products, our products will continue to work on your skin over the next 48 hours.
